Change your brain...Change your life!!

The thing you ‘give up’ does not have to be physical. Another way to DETOX during the Lenten season is to renew your MIND daily with words that bring life vs. death.  
Ways to transform your mind and spirit include the following:

1. In a journal or put loud daily state your I Am's:  I am a  strong and loved child of God.  I am healthy.  What you tell yourself will happen will happen! 

2.  Read daily or listen to something motivational or uplifting. Staring your morning with a positive message benefits you all day. Podcasts or audio books allow you to multitask while going through your morning routine. 

3.  Spend time with only positive people. We tend to mirror the people we spend the most time with, so chose your friends wisely. 

4.  Honor God by memorizing scripture and recite daily versus like the one below.  
Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true whatever is noble whatever is right whatever is pure whatever is lovely whatever is admirable if anything is excellent or praiseworthy the think about such things and the God of peace will be with you! (Phil 4:8)
